Castlify can distribute live streams and pre-recorded videos to your destinations.<h2 id="c1ew8yewb3q" data-toc-id="c1ew8yewb3q">Live stream links (24/7 channels and live events)</h2>Castlify supports these live input links:<ul><li>HLS (<code>.m3u8</code>)</li><li>MPEG-DASH (<code>.mpd</code>)</li></ul>Notes<ul><li>The link must be reachable and valid.</li><li>Some URLs expire or require tokens/headers. If your link changes often, generate a fresh one.</li></ul><h2 id="o5skak5z2c6" data-toc-id="o5skak5z2c6">Pre-recorded video links (file inputs)</h2>Castlify supports using pre-recorded video files, such as:<ul><li>MP4</li><li>MOV</li><li>AVI</li><li>WebM</li><li>(and other common video containers)</li></ul>When you add a pre-recorded video as input, Castlify outputs it as a live stream to your destinations. By default, pre-recorded videos run as a 24/7 live loop (infinite loop). This is ideal for “always-on” channels or simple playout.
